Amanda has over 20 years of experience within the media sector, across both European and Australian markets. Having held sales Leadership roles in the directory business Sensis for over 10 years, she then led the digital transition to successfully launch CitySearch across the key metropolitan markets in Australia, before joining European Directories. At European Directories, she was VP, Sales across 8 European markets, during the roll-out of digital solutions and transition to lead-based selling methodologies. Amanda is currently a Senior Consultant, at learn2grow, which provides HR Advisory and Consultancy to companies looking to optimize their performance and/or business transformation.
An Australian by birth, Martyn commenced his advertising career at DDB Melbourne after being awarded an Advertising Federation of Australia internship. He then moved to JWT in Australia before his first overseas posting at Lowe in Vietnam as Client Services Director.
He later moved to Lowe in Bangkok where he was the Executive Vice President, with his final role at Lowe being Group Managing Director of the Prague offices in the Czech Republic.
He has worked across numerous categories and for brands such as Cadbury, Kraft, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestle, ABInbev, Mercedes Benz and GE Money.
Martyn is now the Managing Partner of Prague-based international advertising agency Hullabaloo.
Nigel Leggatt is the Senior Partner Sales Manager for Bing Ads with responsibility for growing Microsoft’s search advertising partner programme across Europe. Dr. Pattison joined UNYP in 2011. In addition to teaching, Anastasia is a managing partner in Shogun Consulting, a business and marketing consulting firm. Previously she worked as a Production Director in the IT industry and has extensive experience in project management, e-marketing, system implementations and conflict management. Outside of the work environment, Anastasia Pattison is conducting research in cross-cultural psychology and holds a scientific grant from the Russian Foundation for Fundamental research. She has published numerous articles on cross-cultural psychology in various scholarly journals and books.
William is a full time faculty. He specializes in the areas of Marketing, Strategic Business Development and Project Management. William is a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army where he was Platoon Sergeant and has served in Europe as well as in the USA.
He has been decorated seven times for outstanding leadership and going above and beyond the call of duty. William moved to the Czech Republic in 2002 and worked as a business consultant to companies such as Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals and 3M, driving business through developing sales and marketing programs. In 2005 he took a full time position with the 3M company as the country wide Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He later became a regional project manager for 3M Central & Eastern Europe. Specializing in change management and strategic leadership, he oversaw the modernization of all of 3M's subsidiaries in CEE, CIS & parts of the Middle East. In this position, he has worked in countries such as Turkey, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania & Poland. He has been teaching and/or guest lecturing at various Universities and MBA programs in the Czech Republic since 2008.
Paul is a highly experienced Strategic Marketeer, Digital Thought Leader, Entrepreneur and Change Agent with an enviable record of transforming and growing businesses through strategic insight coupled with a strong commercial and customer-centric focus.
Paul has enjoyed a long and successful career working in the telecoms, media & technology sector. His passion for media and communications began while working in regional press before joining British Telecom, where he spent more than two decades in the leadership ranks at Yell Group, working in both the UK and US.
Paul has always worked at the forefront of transformational business change. He was part of the team that launched yell.com in the UK in 1996, and he went on to head up Yell’s New Media Sales & Operations teams. He spearheaded BTYP’s international growth strategy that began with the $665m acquisition of Yellowbook USA in 1999. His vast operational experience includes Strategy Development, Sales & Marketing Leadership, Product Management and Digital Innovation.
In 2010, he founded Radicle Consulting Ltd, a boutique hands-on consultancy specialising in Digital Transformation and Customer Experience Design.
Paul is highly active in the Digital Start-Up and Incubation arena, being directly involved with a number of exciting and diverse start-up ventures, as a mentor, board advisor, investor, or owner/director in his own right. Paul is an advisor to the executive board of The Local Search Association and he has recently joined the board of SIINDA (The Search & Information Industry Association). He has worked as a sub-contractor to Price Waterhouse Coopers as a subject matter expert in the directive media sector. Paul’s client portfolio extends to all five continents, including Australia, where he is an Associate Partner of HunterPac, a Sydney-based Executive Search, Consulting & Contract Resourcing practice.
Paul is a Fellow of The Chartered Management Institute. He is happily married, and lives in St Albans, UK. His many interests include fine wine and wildlife photography.
